In Lucky Strike, a posed portrait of Jan is laid into a mid-century advertisement, a la American portrait artist Cindy Sherman, to reflect on the way advertising and marketing communications can ‘get it wrong,’ as in this case, marketing carcinogenic products as if they were just another tasty snack.
