True Blue is a tribute to New York socialite and art-world darling Edie Sedgwick (1943-71), best-known as one of Andy Warhol’s ‘Superstars,’ who starred in Warhol’s art films in the mid-1960’s, and who was later immortalized by Bob Dylan in his songs ‘Leopardskin Pillbox Hat,’ ‘Like A Rolling Stone,’ and ‘Just Like a Woman.’
